WKU, Distance Learning “ManyMedia” Platform

HyperManyMedia provides an open-sources online courses. The main focus of this platform is personalization. The recommender system is semantically-based: http://hypermanymedia.wku.edu
This platform went into multi-stages of development. Many algorithms are running behind the scene to support:

  1. Metadata information retrieval
  2. Semantic-based retrieval (ontology-based)
  3. Visual retrieval (ontology-based)
  4. Cross-language retrieval (ontology-based)
  5. Semantic Recommendation (ontology-based)

It is an open-source, you need to register to get the personalized aspect of the domain.
